i’m gonna get a belly picture up for the previous post as soon as i like one that i see. otherwise, you can just look at me in this one :-).
I was watching Rowan play this morning, and everytime this happens, i wonder how much like him that I am: he will touch something that is a ‘no’, i will flick his finger and say ‘no rowan’ and he will go back and do it again. and again and again. Every time, he goes back with seemingly innocent intents, but he gets punished and doesn’t learn. now, i know he’s still little and has lots to learn, but I feel like my relationship with the Lord and my life here on earth are so similar. I do, say, or think things that aren’t pleasing to the Lord, He gives me a light rebuke, and I repent but sometimes only for a moment. Then I find myself doing, thinking or saying those same things again. But God is so good, He continues to diligently teach me and keep His patience. He is slow to anger, my friends! Oh that I could have that quality too.
random: does anyone have the movie “If the Shoe Fits?” It’s an old circa-1991 Rob Lowe and Jennifer Gray movie based on Cinderella. If you have it, could you lend it to me or Bri? We NEEEEED to see it. NEEEEED. (you know when there’s 5 “e’s” its reeeeelly important.)

as you can see from the title, i am feeling ‘oh so pregnant’ today. And that is not a complaint but more of an observation. People have been asking me “how are you feeling?” and quite honestly, my first thought is “I’m feeling rather large.” I have officially entered into the third trimester (i probably started it a while ago but haven’t been counting). I recently figured out that I am about 31 weeks along. I dont even know when 3rd trimester offically starts, all i know is that I am having another baby in 2 months! AHHH!! Someone just said to me tonite “I can’t believe you’re having another baby soon.” I hear ya. I feel as though I just had Rowan yesturday. And by the way, he is WALKING now. Can you believe it? Some of you can, cuz you’ve seen it. I swear, it took him 2 days to figure out he’s a biped, and once he realized it, he was off. And he’s a fast little one. Anyone who just had a baby or is about to have their first, it’s true what they say! This first part of their lives really does go by so fast. Take lots of pictures, videos, write things down, enjoy every moment and every tear, because looking back, even the hard times will seem sweet. Thank you Lord for babies!
Random thought: If I could go anywhere right now, it’d be Anna Maria Island where we took our honeymoon. I could go for a nice hammock right now. 
Today, I am overwhelmed with love for my wonderful husband. I think this man would do anything for me, but that isn’t why I love him. Aside from being the most handsome man on earth, his love for the Lord amazes me every day, and his constant yearning to be a better man causes me to want to be more holy in all I do. And i absolutely love the way he takes care of us and will not settle for the crumbs. I could go on all day, but most of you know Joel, and I just wanted to brag about him, so that next time you see him you can think or even say outloud “man, Joel really IS awesome!”
Ok so i gave in and got a wordpress blog just like everyone else. I really actaully think I like it better than myspace, so here goes! I’m not even sorry it’s so green. Enjoy
