I have been uninspired to blog recently, not sure why. Possibly because of the lack of interesting things to say.
On another note, the trip home to New York was fabulous. We got to have some meetings with people to talk about ZHOP, we hung out a ton with my family, and we got to be around some snow. (that one day we had here was nothing compared to what they have up there, sheesh!) It was so good for my family to be able to hang out with us, but with rowan especially. They’re officially huge suckers for that boy now. And he did GREAT in the car! Suprisingly, because he used to freak out just going to Bi-Lo. While we were in NY, we got to see some old friends and reconnect with people we hadn’t seen in over a year. It was absolutely grand. Betsy and Mark, Joel and Christine, Dave and Sandy, and Charles and Leah, it was so good to see you guys. We always love and miss you tons. Not only did we see old friends, but my grandparents finally got to meet Rowan. Grandpa wrote him a poem that just touched my heart so deeply, I can’t wait for Ro to be old enough to understand it. We had a great time visiting with them. I love my family!!
Also, I’m about 8 months pregnant now, and definitely feeling it. Can’t wait to meet this little person! I’m not going to post a pic, but you can imagine, I’m pretty huge!

We are in New York! If anyone from Westfield or Buffalo sees this and wants to get together, we’re here till Wedensday. We’re interested in sharing our vision for night and day prayer with as many people as possible, and plus we’d love to see y’all!
We’re having a grand ol’ time hanging out with my family and seeing old friends. Last night we visited with a couple that we hadn’t seen in a year and it was just as if we’d never left. I love that. And today we have lunch with some friends that it will probably be that way with too. I just love my friends! This is a fun time for us, getting to catch up with people and explaining exactly what do in Charlotte.
On another note, YAY FOR THE JACOBS!!! Their little one was born and he is SOOO adorable. Judah Lake Jacobs, 9 lbs 4 oz. Now that I have a little one of my own, my excitement for them is unbelievable! And it makes me even more excited about my next one. Lord, thank you for babies!!

It seems the Lord is really working on helping me to be unoffendable. And yes, you all know what that means: Plenty of reasons to get offended have been and are coming my way! I never realized that I was so sensitive until recently, when the Lord actually convicted me of my offenses! I am so weak in some areas; people’s tone of voice especially. I don’t know why, but that has always affected me so much. I want to be tough skinned! So to all that I have been offended at, just give me a blanket “i forgive you” in your heart, I’ll trust that you did it, and I’ll feel just a little better. I’m working on it, and I really do love every person in my life. You’re all wonderful people!
PS Sorry to those of you that encountered me at any point in time yesturday: I was a bit emotional (not to blame it on the pregnancy but i’m sure that it contributed). I really am fine and not as frazzled as it may ahve seemed. Much love!
Can I just say that I love all you ZHOP women? Seriously, when we have bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties and the like, it is one of my absolute favorite times. I love getting to know all of you outside of the prayer room, where we really don’t communicate much. I feel like you are all family to me, and I love that! So my thought is this: I am gonna start a womens’ group. Not sure if it will just be a Mommy group or for all women, but either way, respond and tell me who would be interested! And then tell me when you think the best time for it would be, cuz i want it to be a thing where the kids stay home with Dad. What’d ya think?
