Sorry again about the delay in blogging. I guess I’m a real slacker when it comes to this, but it’s strange that I ALWAYS check my myspace. Can we say nerd?

Anyway, I was marveling this morning at the mercy of God. I read 2 Chronicles this morning, the story of King Ahaz and then Hezekiah. It’s amazing that, even though Judah was in complete rebellion against Yahweh during Ahaz’s reign, God forgave them when they returned to Him under Hezekiah. An entire nation of idolaters, and God says “as long as you turn back to me, I will forgive your sins.” And He blessed their land! When I was reflecting on this, I thought about the kind of legacy I want to leave to my kids; one of worshiping Yahweh and not living for idols. Of any kind! not money, not my husband, not TV, not any hobby, but only God. Lord, give me the grace to always put you first and above all else! And help me to not lift my soul to any other love but You…

Oh the mercy of God is so amazing! By the way, Asher is doing great. He’s already probably about 10 lbs and very healthy. He’s a calm, quiet addition to the family, except when he’s hungry. Then you better get some earplugs cuz he’s got some lungs on him. Like his dad. :-)

Love y’all!
