For those of you who look forward to the random pictures, I apologize for, well, forgetting!  I think I have too many things to keep track of on the internet. Just for humors sake, let’s take a look at all of the things I do when I “check my email”:

Email, Facebook, Myspace, the bank, craigslist, my blog, other people’s blogs.

let me tell you, it takes longer than you’d think. “Checking my email” takes 45 minutes some days! HA! Good thing I’ve discovered this. I think I’ll cut and go back to the simpler life of just plain old email.                    And an occasional Facebook.                And maybe I’ll check myspace sometimes.                 And jeez, I have to check the bank right?                     And my blog is very important, if I do say so myself.                  And how will I know anything if I don’t read my friend’s blogs? Does this mean I have to talk to people now? :-)

i love this one~!

this photo was taken in the old prayer room over at the Cause. That’s Taryn large with Enoch! See anyone else you know?

Hi friends!

I decided to open up a little shop on www.etsy.com (my username is sweetpeaz) and sell some handmade things! I have lots of fabric but am hitting a creative wall. Any ideas?  I’m thinking along the lines of quilts, aprons, pillow shams, etc. Hit me!

Today is a day I need to remind myself of things I’m thankful for, so here goes:

1.  white chocolate

2.  good friends and good conversation

3.  Luke and Bri Ahrenholtz and they’re new precious bundle

4.  my amazing family

5.   When Rowan is the comic relief in my day (when he dances, my heart does flips.)

ryan’s artwork

the artist shall remain nameless but i’ll give you a clue: his first name rhymes with Brian and his last name rhymes with Inner-granola.

My heart has been gripped to pray for the people in the title of this blog. The link to their blog is in my blogroll (labeled ‘pray for them’). As you’ll see, it’s written by the husband of a woman who has Cystic Fibrosis, which apparently is a disease of the lungs. She was about to get a double-lung transplant when they found out that they were pregnant with baby Gwyneth, so they decided to proceed with the VERY high risk pregnancy and postpone the transplant until it was absolutely necessary. They are firm believers in God and have an amazing story. Please visit the blog and let your heart be encouraged to pray for this beautiful family. I don’t know them personally, but I feel like I do because of the intercession I’ve been pulled into these past few days.

Life is really an amazing thing, and I know this isn’t news to any of you. But this amazing little Gwyneth only exists because God is the giver of life and ALL good things, and if you dont know this already, a baby is a VERY good thing. I am proud to even be associated with any mom who decides that the Lord knows best and that when He gives you life in your womb, you regard it as a blessing and a privelage. Abortion and many forms of birth control have resulted in a holocaust of babies in this nation and the world (50 million +!). So to all of you mothers, I bless you in the name of Jesus, and I thank you for being a life-giver.

I dont’ want to neglect to say that Nate, the husband of Tricia, needs pray as well. His heart seems to be doing suprisingly well considering the circumstances, but we can’t underestimate how hard this situation must be. I don’t even think he’s been able to hold his new little baby girl! My heart hurts to think about that. Thanks for listening, and do pray for them when you think of it. Or better yet, read the blog and add them to your list.

5 things I love Saturday! haha

1.  Oriental ramen noodles with cheese and crakers

2.  Watching oldschool musicals by myself or with Bri :-)

3.  paying all of our bills! ON TIME!

4.  Rowans voice when he sings high pitched with Junior Asparagus

5.   shopping at thrift stores for nothing in particular.

AND for a bonus, a picture!

Hello all! Sorry it’s been so long, I forget about blogging when things get busy, and boy have they been busy!! Joel’s parents, sister and Grandma have been visiting for the past week. It has been so much fun! Joel, me and the boys had our own little Christmas at our house in the morning, and then when we all got dressed (the boys wore Christmas sweaters. I know, I’m a dork!), we headed over to Mark and Laurens for the big family sha-bang. We opened LOTS of gifts. So overwhelming! Our families really went overboard with blessing us, if that’s possible hehe. After presents, we pigged out on cinnamon rolls (a greutradition), made christmas cookies, and prepared a huge meal. I love eating the meals in my big kitchen with my whole family. Then, after dinner and lots of amazing pie by Lauren, we just hung out and had good ol’ fashioned fun and conversation. And I think it was that night when we watched Amazing Grace, which was a really neat movie! All about the guy who got the slave trade abolished in Britain.

Anyway, here are some photos from Christmas, and one that i just took of Asher and me the

other day. I love him!

yes, this is me large with child (Rowan). And yes, that is a mask of some kind. I think the gel-y kind that you sleep in to reduce puffiness? anyway, maybe someday you’ll get to see the pictures of all the other housemates in that mask. priceless!

PS The face that Joel is making…he just had that mask on 2 seconds before me. He’s just being dramatic. haha!

We had such a great Thanksgiving! Not only did we have 16 people over to our house for a pot-luck style dinner, but we had such a good time hanging out. After dinner (which was amazing! We had a smoked turkey AND a roaster turkey!), we went around and shared something we were thankful for. Of course, I got teased for coming up with the idea (apparently lots of grandma’s do that kind of thing so they affectionatly called me grandma the rest of the evening). After that, we sat in the living room and had a wonderful time of laughing. We then decided to play Cranium. Because of the potpourri of people we had over, there wasn’t a dull moment. And I laughed so hard a few times! My sister in law, Bekah, is pregnant and is going through the phase where when you get laughing, you can’t stop, and she gets this really cute high-pitched laugh when she really gets going. I love it! And Ryan…well…Ryan will probably be the one we remember the most because immediately following dinner, he fell asleep on the floor, snuggled up against the back of my couch amidst all of the ruckus. And he slept for what must have been an hour. And after he woke, I dont think he stopped eating until he went to bed. And because of his lack of sleep from the two previous nights, he was quite loopy, and so hilarious. I love my friends and family! Luke and Bri provided some great comic relief too. Our friends Jen, Joni, Anne, and Beth came too and we had a grand old time just eating and being in each others’ company. I will never forget that day with my friends and family and some of the jokes we shared. You guys are so special to me and I truly enjoyed having you over to my house that day. Joel and I are truly blessed to have you in our lives. And I MEAN THAT! :-)
